RMB Toyota Teesside have had the pleasure of valeting one of their customer's Toyota vehicles ready for its visit to Buckingham Palace later this week.
Long-standing RMB Toyota customer Stuart Cornwell has been awarded an OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) and is set to visit Buckingham Palace on Thursday 2nd March for his inauguration.
Recognised for his work with Spurgeons, A Way Out and Safe Families for Children, Mr Cornwell was awarded the OBE in the Queen's New Year's Honours List and speaking of his achievement said: "I feel immensely honoured and privileged to receive this award. Ultimately, however, it would never have happened without many encounters and partnerships with gifted and generous people who have worked alongside; shared their expertise; and helped improve the circumstances of some of society’s most vulnerable children and adults”.
In preparation for his visit to the capital and Buckingham Palace, Service Manager Andrew Bleasby arranged for Mr Cornwell's Toyota Land Cruiser to be given the royal treatment through a full valet. Mr Cornwell's current Land Cruiser is his third and having driven Toyota vehicles for over 17 years he has no intention of moving away from the Toyota family anytime soon.
As a token of our thanks to Mr Cornwell as a long-standing customer of RMB Toyota for over 10 years and to congratulate him on his outstanding achievement Andrew presented Mr Cornwell with a bottle of The Balvenie Whiskey. Andrew said of the honour: “I was so pleased to find out the news from Stuart. I’ve known Stuart for over 10 years since dealing with his previous vehicles at our Toyota dealership in Northallerton, and couldn’t think of anyone more deserving of this achievement.”
Congratulations once again to Mr Cornwell, we hope you enjoy every moment of Thursday at Buckingham Palace.
